SERVICES

Education and evidence-based counselling and support services for individuals, couples, and families

With over a decade of clinical experience rooted in attachment theory and a focus on wellbeing, we will help you to organize your thoughts, identify next steps, and implement strategies to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and improve relationships.

We offer both in-person and virtual appointments.

  • A white man with blonde hair wearing a dark green sweater leans against a blue wall with his hands in his pocket. He is smiling broadly.

    Individual Therapy

Individualized therapy provides an opportunity to identify the things that are holding you back and develop a clear path forward. We work with motivated individuals who have reached an impasse in some area of life and are ready to make a change.

  • A Black couple is standing in a park in Autumn. The man is standing behind the woman with his arms wrapped around her waist. Her arm is out as if they're dancing together. They look happily in love.

    Couples Counselling and Relationship Therapy

Improve communication and reduce conflict within relationships in a safe space. The goal is to reconnect, value each other's way of thinking, and commit to building a healthy, resilient relationship that feels authentic to you.

  • An Asian dad is kneeling down in front of his toddler, who is sitting in a high chair. He's offering her a plate of food, while she looks suspiciously at it with her finger in her mouth. Her mom is in the back washing dishes.

Caregiver Support, Parenting, Clinical Supervision & More

We offer services for caregivers of aging parents, emotional coaching for parents, clinical supervision for counsellors, and an internship program for aspiring therapists.

ABOUT US

Many underestimate the healing power of relationships

Leaning wholly into attachment theory, the heart of our practice is rooted in the principle that our health is profoundly influenced by our relationships—the relationships we have with our loved ones, our livelihood, and ourselves.

Through this therapeutic lens, Watermark Counselling Co. (formerly MH Counselling) helps high-performers in Vancouver examine different areas of life so they can leverage their strengths to navigate anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges often stemming from high-pressure situations and major life transitions.

STARTING THERAPY

Where to start?

If you've been feeling disconnected or unsettled with certain parts of your life, it can be extremely distracting and frustrating when things don't "get better" despite your best efforts.

Don't give up hope. Oftentimes, the natural next step is to seek support from a professional who can help guide you and offer a fresh perspective.

So, how do you determine who can help?

An Asian male is standing among the flowers in a forest. He is wearing a bright orange jacket, making him pop among the scenery. We're looking at him from the side. He's staring blissfully ahead.
